• Moore Brothers Farms, Inc. - Handling Facilities

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Moore Brothers Farms in Trenton, NC. Phil and Andy Moore are contract finishers with eight 1,000-head pull plug units. Theirs is a very impressive operation with much attention given to the form and function of handling facilities.

Extra-wide, covered outside alleyways improve handling from truck to pen and back again. Their loading dock has a unique wench system that allows top loading and then simply by raising the platform they have access to the lower deck. The overall results: Handling Made Easy!
